Is GolfXI only for tournament players?
No. GolfXI is built for casual rounds, weekly groups, trips, leagues, club events, member-guests, and competitive tournaments. Players can use the same app experience whether the event is simple or complex.
Can GolfXI work with USGA handicap workflows?
Yes. GolfXI supports USGA handicap workflows where the organization has configured them, including Handicap ID, handicap index, handicap context, and score-posting workflows designed to reduce duplicate entry.
Can players score from their phones?
Yes. GolfXI is designed around mobile-friendly score entry, with web and app surfaces for players while admins manage the event from the web dashboard.
Do I need to download the app?
Players can use GolfXI through supported web flows and can also download the iOS or Android app for the best mobile experience.
Can I run side games with GolfXI?
Yes. GolfXI supports side games, skins, closest-to-the-pin, custom payouts, and settlement workflows depending on the event setup.
Is GolfXI free for players?
Yes. Players can join events, enter scores, and follow results without a player subscription. Organizers can also run unlimited events and leagues free for groups of up to 200 players.
How do I join an event my organizer created?
Use the invitation, event link, or pairing code provided by the organizer. After signing in, GolfXI connects you to the event details, scoring experience, and live results that were published for your group.
Can I follow results while the round is still being played?
Yes. When live results are enabled, players can follow the leaderboards, flights, teams, matches, skins, and other standings configured for the event as scores arrive.
Does GolfXI keep my event and league history?
GolfXI keeps the rounds, scorecards, results, standings, and event context connected to your account so you can revisit the golf you played with your groups and organizations.
